2001 Dodge Intrepid gas filter????
I asked a service station if, with my oil change, they could replace my gas filter. They said they could not because it is in the FREAKIN' GAS TANK. What is up with that? Any technicians out out there know an easy way to change the gas filter without a cutting torch? I know next time I buy a brew new car I'm going to have a thousand questions on ... "where's this..... and this.... and this...?!?

Re: 2001 Dodge Intrepid gas filter????
All you have to do is take down the gas tank. There is no cutting involved. Take the Fuel pump out(which is right on top of the tank) and there is the filter!!
