thinking about buying

ignoring the fact this site doesn't get much traffic, i thought i would ask a few questions anyway.

i'm thinking about buying an is300. can't afford a brand new one, so i'll have to go with a used 02 or something. i'm used to racing my civic and depend on its tight turns and great top end. is the is300 gonna suffice my racing needs? realize i will do mods to it, but how is it stock? saw some great pics on net, but i'm looking for some personal info. do you like it? what are the negatives? what are the perks...besides owning a lexus. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

SUP IM NEW HERE

1ST OFF A CIVIC IS NOT A RACE CAR
2ND I HAVE A LEXUS IS300 AND ITS REALLY SLOW (15.4SEC) BUT I GUESS ITS FASTER THEN ANY CIVIC SO IT MIGHT BE AN UP GRADE TO YOU...IF YOU ASK ME...FOR SPEED AND CHEAP GET THE EVO'S OR THE WRX (13.3SEC) YOU WILL STAY UP WITH V8..BUT FOR LOOKS...WELL JUST GET THE IS300..UNLESS YOU WANNA PUT A TURBO OR A S/C...
GO HERE WWW.IS300.NET...AND ILL SEE YOU THERE

Re: thinking about buying

I'm thinking of buying an 01-02 IS 300 as well, I gotta test drive an 02 WRX first and see how it compares. I know the WRX is faster, but the IS 300 is more reliable, more comfortable, and it can drift like hell once I learn how to. Anyways, I've already tested the IS 300 and I'm going to test the WRX tomorrow...I'll post my impressions then.
