Turn signal problem on 1999 Express 1500

Sometimes when I turn the headlights on, the left turn signal indicator lights continuously and the turn signal will no longer work. If I turn the headlights off, the turn signal works, but all the dash lights (radio too) flash along with the signal. This is an intermittent problem, and I'm not sure where to start tracking it down.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a similar experience?

sounds like you have a bulb filament that has come loose and is shorting across to the other filament, this is a common problem, when this happens all kinds of funny things will occur because you have short between two different circuits. Physically check all of the exterior bulbs first.

Wink Found the problem

It turned out to be my UHaul trailer light energizer. I disconnected the left turn signal wire from it and everything returned to normal. Now to see if UHaul covers replacement under warranty
