Question 95 cutlass supreme whining belt sound

my 1995 cutlass supreme makes a whining sound when it turns on. It wasnt that loud when i bought it used but its gettin louder. I know its the belt but im not a mechanic and i want to fix this annoying sound. It sounds like its comming from near the power steering. But any info on this subject would be greatly apreciated.

Wink

Try removing the belt. Check each pulley to see if it wobbles from side to side and make sure the power steering pulley turns freely. If it doesn't, you may have to replace the power steering pump. Also check the belt tensioner and make sure that pulley moves freely.
