GT40 kit car rock crawler

read it in COT... well... i'm about as die-hard GT40 as you can get, and i like it! i think... my only question is: what's with the red Delorean? i've seen one out here in phx too...
but yes, good job on the kit!

Good to hear! I know some people take things personally!
The red DMC is owned by a guy in our club who makes the stainless steel frames. So that DMC has a stainless frame and it has tons of miles on the engine and still runs strong! I don't know the story behind the paintjob but I do know it looks great. Painted ones aren't all that uncommon. There are a couple red ones in our club. Not all are painted because there are damaged panels fixed with body filler, some people just like em that way! Stainless for me, please.

They had a special Monster Garage that had the build up of that GT40 in it. Looked pretty nice, performed pretty bad... And the guys who built it were part of a DeLorean club. They all had em, there must have been 10 of them in the driveway.
