engine swap options

I've got a couple of questions. I have a 96 3.8 liter and I'm in the process of building a 4.6 to swap out with it. My first question is about deleting the a/c system, is it just a matter or removing the components and installing a pulley and bracket in place of the compressor, or could I not even worry about that and just go with a smaller belt? My second question is about the egr system, I've heard talk about removing it but searched far and wide on the internet and haven't been able to find any info about doing it. Doesn't seem like it would be that difficult hardware wise but I have no idea how it would affect the computer and I wonder if there is a way to trick the computer into thinking that it's there and performing optimally. My final question is about the electrical system, the block I'm using is from a '94 and if I can find it for the right price I'm gonna use the PI heads and intake setup, if not I'll go with the heads/intake from a 96+. Can I use the ecm/pcu and wiring harness from any 4.6 thunderbird or will I need to find a specific one.

Suggestions and ideas are appreciated.

Re: engine swap options

Have you searched on www.tccoa.com for answers? The guys over there have tried just about everything.
