Oh, basically a Focus. I don't personally don't like them. But I give them credit for producing power from such an inexpensive model.

I sat in one last week, but wasn't particularly impressed. It looks exactly like the other three, except all smooshed together. I like it better than the Elantra GT, though.

I can think of another 5 door hatchback coming in late 2002/soon 2003; the Civic 5door. Of course the Focus ZX5 is much sportier and nicer.

Mazda Portege 5
(something to note the next protege will be based off of the next focus platform and will use fords duratec engines and a new high tech diesel, something the US wont get, ford also plans to add AWD and a cosworth version is in the works)
