2004 Windstar Power Seat
How difficult is it to determine the problem with the power seat??? My drivers seat is having problems and I really don't want to take it to the garage unless I absolutely have to. 9 times out of 10 when you need to change the seat (which is pretty much every day since I have a new driver in the family and she is way shorter so the seat needs to move front) you have to bang on the side of the seat where the control is until it kicks in and actually starts to work. I'm hoping it's something simple that I can try before giving in and admitting defeat and taking to the garage. Any suggestions???? Many thanks to any help!!!

Re: 2004 Windstar Power Seat
If you are driving a 2004 Freestar I imagine you are still under full warranty. Sounds like a loose connection to me. Maybe remove the seat and look inside at all connectors or leave the seat in and look at all visible connectors for starters, and for any loose wires. Sorry, I don't know how tough it will be to find the problem.
