toyota corolla TE27 levin WIP

this is one of my favorite cars, and this will be a long WIP for me.

whats done so far:

-scratchbuilt engine bay area
-cut open trunk and scratchbuilt trunk with spare tire
-removed the molded in seats, floor pan and modofied center console to be correct to 1:1
-will use some recaro Njoy seats
-removed the whole exhaust sytem.
-lowered
-new front brakes

plans:
-new exhaust
-2TG engine detail
-rework the rear leaf springs
-front TOSCO chin spoiler
-rear TOSCO trunk spoiler

the kit:



first i was cleaning my library of mags and found this underneath

an old issue of OPTION magazine. now this sets me up for a very JDM mood. (now to find my other option mags)
prepares the seat(recaro Njoy) and new interior door panels

door panels need cleaning up though
the new interior tub

i cant find any styrene here locally, so i use prepaid cards for cellphones
with the seats:

Did those seats come with the kit?
All the wheels actually look pretty good on the car except the wire style ones. I especially like the second set.
Good job with the engine bay and trunk, lots of details, perhaps you are going to make the grill/headlights removable once the model is complete?

@kaho: nope the seats came from 2 kits sets of fujimi ae86. it only has minimal interior detail, and stock seats are molded in(and a pain to remove without a dremel) and im planning to make the grille/headlght assembly removable to see the detils.

and the second set of rims(2 pc panasports) is actually the set that im going to use.

how are you going to make the 2tg engine? .. you could put in a 3sgte,or a 20v...the car looks great..

another update. working slowly in the interior now...:
got the seats ion place, and carpeted the interior

harness for the driver side

nardi steering wheel

carpeted backboard and old school Pioneer TSX speakers

here you can see the new door panels, with window riser and door handle

Looks awesome! I love the Panasports on it, though the last ones in your role call look awesome as well. I love the work under the hood and in the trunk - beautiful!

u can order 2tg motors? are they complete? and who makes them?

its scratchbuilt-made by a friend and he casted his master,a nd he's sent me one of his resin copies.

its alright. thanks for the comment. have a lot of things lately thats going around, and the te27 just came to a point where i have to stop, for a while. gotta get some other quick build projects first before finishing this baby. th side projects are just to keep me in the groove of things
