3S SL to 300ZX TT?

I don't know much about the 300ZX but I love the interior and that alone is enough for me to buy one. There's a 91 TT for $8900 w/ 109k on it here, is that a good buy? Anything to look for? Thanks.

FWD to RWD...Quick to FAST...non turbo to turbo...etc.

anyways, things to looks for...leaks and paperwork...i would take it to a shop and have them check it over. good luck!!!

First things first sounds like a good deal. Things to look for.

Oil leaks from turbos
powersteering leaks,
odd sounds while driving
stereo works and head unit works 100% of the time,
no leaks in the T tops or doors
Timing belt has been changed recently along with water pump.

These are the major things to look for the rest I am sure someone else will cover.

Sorry man, i'm sure i'd like the twin-turbo part but I haven't experienced that yet. As far as looks go i'd have to get a body kit to like it. Any common drivetrain problems? I know the 3S TT's had a transfer case breakage problem for certain years, things like that.

And as far as adjusting FWD to RWD, i've had both in my time. Now a 300ZX TT doesn't have 350 ft/lbs of torque does it? Cuz i've handled that much, but haven't driven anything that had over 250 HP.

well the 300zxTT has 300bhp...but it probably will not be like anything you have ever driven before. and there are no common drivetrain problems. clutch goes out if you keep replacing it with stock but then again it does have a lot of power so you cant expect the clutch to last 200k miles.

Right right, i've never driven a turbocharged car before I really want to experience boost since everyone seems to be in love with it that has. Now I can't wait to go check the car out.
