Lightbulb Oil filter location

Hi there poeple. new to the forum. My wife just got her a new Bimmer and i was looking it over last night. I couldn't figure out what the round canister with a black lid with a large plastic nut on top was. Is this the oil filter location on the Bimmer. She has a 2003 325I.

Thumbs up Re: Oil filter location

If it says "25 n/m" on the top, then that's it. The "25" is the torque spec to tighten that baby down to.
