Exclamation 95 beretta, cant get lower plenum off

I need help. I i have a 95 beretta with the 3.1 v6, and the rear head is cracked. Is it nessesary to remove the lower plenum of the intake to get it off?? If so, there are 3 bolts holding the power steering pump and i can only get 2 out, the last one isnt accessable unless i take off the engine mount. If i take the mount off with a jack and a 2x4 piece of wood under the motor, will it cause any damage?? Do i have to remove all this stuff just to get the rear head off?!?!? Please help me!!!!! Thanx

Re: 95 beretta, cant get lower plenum off

you must remove the lower intake to get the heads off. Place the wood block underneath the oil pan and jack the engine up just to relieve pressure off the mount, then while removing the mount you may need to jack it up a little more to get the mount off... yes you need to remove all of this to get the heads off???? nope, it will not cause any damage, be sure when you remove the intake bolts you crack them loose in criss cross patterns making half turns at a time per bolt until they can be undone with your hand.. if not you may warp the intake and/or head... the same goes for removing the head bolts... always chase the head bolts before reinstalling and use new head bolts... i personally prefer felpro gaskets you can get them cheap online at www.rockauto.com... make sure you replace your o ring gasket and fuel inkector gaskets while you have the injectors out clean them up, etc...

how exactly does one go about cracking the rear head? please don't say overheating.
