Re: Cheater NOS ??? Safe?

If you are in need of immediate power and not enough cash to build turbo or swap then go with a wet nitrous kit. I would suggest NX with the GenX2 upgrade kit this will put you at the $800 mark. A always tell others to get wet kits primarily because the system relies on its own fuel supply via the fuel solenoid. Dry kits are good too, but your power output is limited to how much pressure your stock injectors can handle. With NX you can get the option of installing a fuel pressure safety swith so if your fuel pump fails, nitrous flow is also cut off. ZEX is another option for less costs for about $600. It requires three wires to install and you are ready to go. I prefer NX because their kits can be used from street all the way to full race sytems with shots of 100+ HP. I am using NX on my CRX d16 Sohc and I've ran a 17.5 all motor to a 15.3 on a 50 shot with stock internals and no engine mods. No weight cuts and A/C still intact. A two second time cut requires some skill to pull off on the 1/4 mile, but I've done it consistently. I've gone through eight 15 pound bottles and the motor still runs perfect. Also get an A/F gauge to be extra safe and If you spray a lot expect to get a new clutch if your stock one has a lot of miles in it. On the F22 I would assume a 75 shot would be a good dose but always start on the smaller shot and go from there. I can keep going on this subject, so if you have any specific questions let me know.

Not something that acclerates like a space shuttle and ends up in a twisted heap of burning metal w/ me in the middle.

omg... it rhymes, and I did it unintentionally. Man, English 101 sure paid off.
