Phew, that's ambitious. To be truly accurate, you're going to have to create rear seats as the Volante has the 2+2 seating configuration as standard.
It would be nice if Tamiya follows up with the Volante version, but I'm not expecting it. |

Re: 1/24 Aston Martin DBS Volante
Yes, it is ambitious! Good luck with it. I figured somebody would do this conversion, won't be surprised if one of the Asian aftermarket companies does a conversion for those willing to shell out another $100 or so on top of the Tamiya kit
![]() I'm lazy, hoping that Tamiya does it as a follow-up in a couple years ![]() Looking forward to seeing more of this. It is a stunning looking car.

Re: 1/24 Aston Martin DBS Volante
Hobby Design indicated to me that they were thinking about doing a Volante version. They are releasing the optional 20-inch 10 spoke design wheels in June.

Re: 1/24 Aston Martin DBS Volante
How easy would it be for Tamiya to release the Volante, genart has showed how!

Re: 1/24 Aston Martin DBS Volante
Well, the SLR convertible would have been even easier for Tamiya than the Volante (as demonstrated by the Hobby Design conversion kit) but they didn't, instead choosing to release a 722. Maybe they'd be convinced to do so if the Aston is a big seller.
