Front brake braking plate
Looking for both front brake backing plate for a 1997 GMC K1500 Sierra 4WD with 5.7L engine. The GMC part number is 15998039 and the dealer said the part is discountinued. Will a front brake backing shield from a 1997 Suburban, Yukon or Cheverolet work if it is cut down? The correct one has a three bolt pattern. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
