Hi!
Time to get yet another build on the go.
This time it's Revell's Chevy Impala 1964 and thank's to this forum I tried out a new technique presented here on AF.
I can't remember who posted it, but who ever it was, if you read this, the credit is all your's for a very slick way to put in a carpet.
This is where I'm at for the moment and what I've been up to so far.
Red with white/red interior. The colour on the body is Tamiyas Italian red from the can. As you can see my camera doesn't like red as it always looks more orange than red

Well, most of you know how that hue looks anyway so you just have to use your imagination to see the right colour.
Still needs to be polished out and get some brighwork done, all in due time.
Layed in a the carpet and dry fitted the interior pieces to keep the rug in place until the glue settled.
...and then it was time to get some colour on the carpet.
Mixed flat red enamel with some burgundy red to tone it down a bit and I think it turned out great.
Hopefully there will be no problems with the paintwork and it'll keep being a smooth ride all the way to the finish line.
That would be nice for a change
Here's the inspiration for my set-up.
