Hi, I have a 94 Chevy Astro van, and i noticed this post was the closest i can find on the internet about my problem http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic887708.htm,
It was about the speedometer abs light and not shifting, I tried it hoping it would work, i cut the purple wire, but it didnt work so i cut all the wires to the abs (since i couldnt get it unplugged) but once i did that the abs light went off, but the speedometer used to bounce a little bit and give weird readings, but now its pegged at the bottom, i repaired all the wires, but still have the same problem, replacing the vss was the first thing we tried. The Fuse is still blowing, and have take the pcm out of the circuit to see if that was the cause, but the 15 amp brake fuse near the bottom of the fuse box, what do i do now?

    Hi
I'm Ron.I noticed that you posted that you had resealed v-5 compressors.I have one in my 96 camaro that has a body gasket leak and want to regasket it.I cannot afford to get one so am going to attempt to seal mine.I am pretty mechanically inclined and think I would have the necessary tools.Any help that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.I have searched all over the internet and can't even find an exploded view of these compressors much less tips on dis and reassembly.Mine cools very good until the freon leaks out. Thanks
