There is something about 95 and earlier involving emissions, but I don't feel like walking out to my van to get the brochure. Dad's 93 Subie had its check engine light on for years on always passed inspection, but when the check engine light came on in his 96 the car failed. What does the NYC Metro Area (hope I used the right phrase) inspection involve? My friend from Yonkers has a regular inspection and not a NYC MA inspection which I find strange.
