i have an acura cl 3.0 v6 vtec. my engine light is on so i checked the codes. the codes came up that all cylinders 1-6 are misfiring. machanics have given me some possibilites like the coil, a sensor, or minor things like the spark plugs. every year i do a complete tune up it will be fine for a while and then the same thing. also randomly the car will run a low idle when first started and will stall. i had another acura the same exact car previously and that one was fine..i am completely clueless and so isnt everyone who looks at it...it is a complete mystery..has anyone else had this problem or know something about it..anything will be helpful

Has anyone confirmed the camshaft position sensor (CPS) was working properly? Does that 99 use a coil pack and plug wires, or is it coil on plug (CoP)? I'm suspecting CoP so it's not as likely that all 6 CoPs are bad.
I suppose you could have a significant vacuum leak in the intake system causing all 6 cylinders to misfire, but I'd expect a companion "lean" diagnostic code for both banks (P0171 and P0174) as well.

Buy a can of brake cleaner. Spray it around the throttle body gasket, the intake boot, and where all the vacuum lines go into the plenum. If you spray and the idle rises, you found your leak.
Very often, a misfire on all cylinders is a vacuum leak.
