Volkswagen Polo To Be Launched In India

Volkswagen will be called “people's car maker” in India too when it will roll out the Polo hatchback in March 2010. The most-awaited Polo will come in 1.2L engine petrol and diesel engines. The Volkswagen Polo will lock horns with the Maruti Suzuki Swift, Tata Indica Vista and Hyundai i10. Volkswagen has already started the development of the Polo in its factory in Pune and the first India-made Polo rolled out of its mill on 12th December.
