I would think plugged into a rubber grommet on top of the valve cover.

I would think so too but if so it is certainly not obvious even after repeated attempts to find it. Help?

I don't remember the vehicle I was working on, but the PCV was actually built into the breather hose. I was confounded by the fact that there was none in the usual place & blew threw the hose just for the hell of it. The only clue was slightly less flexability in one part of the hose.

Factory manual states it is located in the right valve cover gasket. Here is a little picture.
