Which 312 PB kit?

Hello again!
As you understand from my built's, I 'm a great ferrari fun...
One of my favorite is 312PB, an I want to add it in my stock (to built it soon I hope).
I see two options in 1/24, the Hiro and Profil24 kits.
So, the question is : Which 312PB kit to choose.

I attention that, I don't have many experience to resin kits (I built a Fisher kit), and absolutely none from a Hiro kit (I have an Hiro F2004, I see a lots of details in it, but I don 't built it yet).

So I wait for your comments, about the kit the advantages and disadvantages, and what your opinions and your comments about the kits.

Just my opinion...but I'd take the MFH kit.

This depends on what you want from the model - if you want full detail - then Hiro. Its a wonderful kit (not the easiest to build, but really nice). Maybe you should tackle few simpler resin/multimedia projects before you attempt a Hiro though.

I've built two P24 and one Hiro 312PB. Both have their problems:

Both P24 kits i built had some parts fit issues, monocoques were too narrow and noses needed to be bent down a bit. The ride height also needs some adjusting to look good.

When completed, MFH kits body parts don't fit that well, atleast on my model. This is not a problem though, who would hide those beautiful details :)

MFH Le Mans version is not totally accurate, battery location, rear brakes and rear subframe are wrong.

IMO overall bodyshape looks better on Profil24 kit, compared to MFH LM-version.

Profil24 kit has about 200 parts less than MFH, so it is still a lot easier to build, even with its problems.

So, in conclusion, if you want to test your skills and want a detailed 312PB, MFH kit is better, but if you want shelf model that looks good with closed panels, i'd go with P24 kit.

I have built several Profil-24 kits and overall quality is very good. Body castings are clean and have a good level of detail. Photo etch parts and decals are also very good. They almost all have some small fit issues though so test fitting is important.

If you want a curbside that looks great buy the Profil 24, although they only make the 1973 Lemans versions. The Profil 24 kit is based on an old LMP kit from Japan by the way(Mike knows that since he built the LMP kit). For a 1972 312PB you have to buy the Hiro kit as no one else has ever made an accurate kit of this version in 1/24th scale.
