My 99 Suburban has a unique problem. After you turn off the vehicle and remove the key... a few minutes later the "Air Conditioner" control will power up and if the fan(s) front or back or in the on position, they will run your battery dead.

Only the Air Conditioner powers up, no radio, no dash lights (excluding the A/C light), just the AC Controller. If you rattle the ignition switch it may go off and come on later. It does not do it every time but does it often.

I don't think it is the ignition switch, I am leaning to a relay feeding backwards? Where is the blower control module?

Thoughts?

the ignition switch sends the voltage to the a/c controling circuits...the ignition switch is most likely bad...weak springs on the contact fingers..

using a meter and inspection of the switch should reveal this ..also it is not that costly a repair.
