Finally got around to doing the linework for this car. My dad's friend Larry's Stratus. Unfortunately he just sold it and is awaiting the arrival of an 09 Dodge Avenger this September.....
Here it is.. hope you like

Good start again with the line work, but still think, to my eyes, that the scoop, hood centerline and grill details are just a bit offset to the passenger side.
Color fill may change that look.

very nice linework so far, definitely looking forward to more progress. However, I agree with Blip, there is something not working in the front end. The center line is too close to the right headlight. To get the right curvature and perspective look of a front end, everything furthest away from the center line should be smaller or tighter than what's closest to the p.o.v. but other than that I really like this piece. Not too often you see a pro stock stratus.

thank guys. i altered the front end a bit now... tried to shift the center line on the hood over and narrow the drivers side. Also shifted the hood scoop a bit (twisted it to get a better angle on it).. i narrowed the hood line on the driver side as well to make it tighter up by the window... not sure if this is enough yet though...what do you think?.. i agree it should maybe look narrower still on that side hard to tell though with the ref. photo as these cars arent production and not always follow general body styles.... let me know what you think though.. thanks for the time

my advice here
don't over think it
draw it
finish it and put it away
you seem to be very detailed oriented...maybe a little too much. This will not be your signature piece. This piece is outstanding but you have thousands more in you that are better. You get to them by getting through this.
Jump on it like I used to want to that girl on the Electric Company. :)
You're good...get'er done.

Hey Lemorris.. your right... my attention to detail is somewhat important. Always has been. Not a good thing to have though..when i always find myself hurrying to finish a piece. Creates conflict... :D
Anyways here we go with the colours etc. It will be darker blue when done, just so i can see the lines to work within i softened it a bit. Also is a ref. pic of the car i am doing...

yeah man
I'd do the lettering and all that last
draw that thing
the minutiae of the detail can be a deal breaker...sometimes the art is in the simple, the mundane. Build your form, render your blacks, lay that bad boy down, then go play detail.
You have a signed sketch that Foose did for you in minutes....right? :)
