1998(9)suburban (it's a 99 but old body style not newer) with 5.7L, CSFI. What is the voltage that the injectors use? I've heard 5V and 12V for GM injectors.
Have the spider assembly on my bench still trying to get this thing back to it's once (read ummmmm 4 days ago) glory, LOL. I want to open and close each one and see if I have a stuck injector. Also, anyone know how to get these darned things outta the housing?
I know, alotta questions for a noob, but heck, I have 2 '99 suburbans, maybe I am in for being a regular here......:shakehead
Thanks for your time, God Bless.

12v is supplied to each injector thru the ECM 1 fuse. The VCM controls the ground for each injectors pulse width.

still trying to figure this thing out, got the spider out and want to check to see if the injectors are opening in all cylinders, 3, 5, 7 seem dead by temp readings. I assume 3, 5, 7 because temp at exhaust port manifold on #1 gave me 220, 3 and 5 gave me 160 and 7 gave me 115, could be the cast iron is dissipating the heat from 1 to 7 therefore the 160 would be close the middle of the low and high, meaning 3 and 5 are not firing, although the spark bites me something fierce when I pull a plug wire....
Thanks for the reply, starting to think didn't nobody looked at this forum anymore....
