Hey guys (and gals),
My ABS/E-brake dash lights are on, E-brake is fully deactivated and brakes are working fine, no scraping or noises and lots of grip. Any ideas?

Call me crazy, but I have a truck (not a Mazda) that did almost the same thing. I could not figure it out for the life of me because I check all my fluids and did check my brakes and it turned out to be a ABS sensor that was on my differential. Again, its not a Mazda but that worked for me. Find out where that sensor is and change it.

You have an ABS light and a RED brake warning light. When the ABS light comes on it turns on the red brake warning light also. Get the ABS fixed and the rbwl will go out also.

I had the car in at the dealer to fix a seperate issue, and he diagnosed it as an ABS sensor that's gone? Does that make sense? Some kind of sensor on the rear brakes anyways, they want $350 to do the job but I'm sure with some detective work I can get in there and switch it up.
Thanks for the helpful tips.

When the mechanic said that "its gone" he could have ment that it was bad, meaning that its not working anymore. Or did he mean it as its not installed anymore?
Anyway, do your investigative work and find out where it is and look to see what it would take to change it yourself. It may be just one screw and then you pop it out (if its still installed). If and when you do find it and know that you can do it yourself, dont forget the little O'ring that goes on it. Dont ever use the old O'ring if you dont have to. Reason, is it may become damaged when reinstalling it.

The only problem is if it is a wheel speed sensor, the bolt that secures it to the hub or whatever usually rusts really bad so be careful when you try to take it out. If it breaks off you have to drill out the hole and its kind of a pain. If it comes right out you shouldn't have too much of a problem.
