Hi guys I could really use some help with this one.
It's a 04 ram1500, 4.7L , 85000 mi.
It over heated and the owener decided to put in a long block. So I swaped the engine out, with new cks , cmp , and ect.
Now it wont start it cranks over fine, with my solous pro I get code p0335 - cks no signal. Pids show cks-no, cmp no,
Ive got 4.96v signal to both, 5.0v reference to both, and 0.4 ohms ground on both.
Ive done the pin point est for P0335 all test pass, I don't really want to condemn tho pcm because it ran fine when it came in, just had #4 cylinder antifreeze leak.
I replace cks, and put old cmp in, checked all grounds, battery voltage is 13.6v
Any ideas would be appreciated

I am just curious if the new engine is a jtec....I know the late 03 durango 4.7 engine had two different types NCG and JTEC, the engine will bolt up and everything plugs in but the cam and crank tone wheels are different..

Hay Hundahunta you were right the cks tone ring was wrong.
I ended up sending to Dodge, they had to call the tech line to get the answer.
It came with a 16 tooth ring , it needed a 32 tooth ring
I thank you for your help, but I didn't get back to your post soon enough.
