IMO, it doesn't look a lot like the Murcielago. It is very common for there to be similarities between most models that any auto manufacturer makes. And don't compare any part of any Lamborghini to a Celica...

the gallardo is a v10 lambo. That has been widely known for at least a year.
in my opinion it doesn't look very good. One of the ugliest lambo i'd say. Looks like a murci/aztec

I agree, I actually said that it looked a bit "CTS" like in an earlier post.

Erm, speaking of Celica, i think ppl say it looks like Celica because of the design of the headlights. It is like a 'fashion' in sports cars now to have headlights that stretches up...just like 350Z, Murcielago, F60...

Well I am sooo sorry, let be bow down an pay hommage to this sacred guido car, and kiss the ground where it leaked oil on. :) When I looked at it the first thing that it reminded me of was a Celica because of those tacky headlights. I hope you're not serious about not comparing the design of these two cars, they're cars, made of glass and plastic.

i dont think japanese are bad cars actually i think they are better than american cars 800 times, i just think it doesnt look good comparing a lambo to a calica it sounds like comparing a bently to a ford focus ;)

Well I'm not really to worried about that, but don't you think they are being a little arrogant if they can't admit that there seems to be a resemblance to the Celica's expression?

To me the Celica looks more comparible to an Lexus ES200. And they and I are just sticking up for a car brand that they love. I'm sure theres a car you would stand up for if someone compared it to something you didn't like. This whole threads gone way too far for stupid reasons and the discussion should end now.

But are you guys sticking up because I think the headlights are tacky, or sticking up because I mentioned a Celica? I was talking about the design similarities, not quality. Road and Track in the early 80s compared an MR2 to a Ferrari 308.

Now to get back on subject, yes I feel like the car is an "evolution" from the murcielago, but Its design has taken a turn for the worse. Because if Italian super car companies are refferring to trendy Japanese designs for inspiration, they can name the next Lambo the "Washed-up-o":o

Actually i would say they resemble the enzo lights closer.. so does that mean the enzo has celica style headlights too:eek: .. its just the freakin style at the moment, they really arnt that aloke, the celica are curved and the gallardo are sharp.. they are flat and the celica's are bulged out.

Stop fighting about lambos and ferrari's!! thye are different cars, ferraris are more targeted at racing and lambos are definatley target for street use.. although ofcourse they can easily make a great race car. You can compare the gallardo to the modena sure.. but in general the manufacturers are very different

I love lambos and i actually think that the lights DO look like a celicas a bit. They are fairly vertical an have a similar shape. I have no problem with this since i like the look of celicas. This is a nice lambod I think and certainly beats the pants off of a 360 modena.

Why is everyone getting so damn worked up over headlights? Who cares if the lights look like a celicas? I'm sure its going to change whether you buy a ferrari or a lambo, right? Dont worry about it.....

It's funny out of the pic with the 3 showing I still think the Diablo is the best looking. Maybe it's the red and that aggressive front that does it but I just think the Diablo is still the best.

Not putting the Murci and the Gallardo down of course, it's just the Diablo will always be and is my favourite.

i think the gallardo looks more bad ass than the murcie, how come they made the murcie seem so much "softer", like the older ones were outrageous , and now there more of a every day expesive car, they lost lots of its outrageousness.but i hope when the newer model around the 50th anv. will be as good or even better than the diablo, and countach, hopefully even combined!:D :D :D
