Hi,
I intend to replace the spark plugs on my 2000 ES300. It seems that 3 of them are visible in front of the engine, but the other 3 are buried somewhere in the back. Any tips on easy access to them? Also, it seems that there are only 3 ingnition wires for this engine. Are the oher 3 attached directly to an ignition coil?
Thanks in advance.

The other three plugs are under the air intake manifold near the firewall. Very tight fit.

I just changed my spark plugs and wires. It is relatively easy if you have marginal skill with tools. The front are quite easy. The rear is another story and takes the bulk of time to accomplish. I just took off the "lexus" cover for the front 3 and the PVC hose to do the back 3.
I did the passenger side back and middle from the passenger side and the back driver from the driver side. I used a 2" extention and a 6" extenstion with a universal 3/8" socket. It was a bit triclky but not impossible.

Just wondering, did you use platinum two node plugs? I was considering Iridium plugs.
