Hey yall I have a quick question here. I am getting ready to do a change of station to Alaska, and purchased a 2009 Liberty for the move. The block heater from Mopar installs in a freeze plug spot, but where is it located? The dealership says labor would be about 150 bucks, and it only goes in a freeze plug so i can knock that out myself and install. Any help on which plug and where it's located on the engine would be appreciated.

the motor has around 8 freeze plugs. i am not sure which one is most optimal? it should be a decent diy job if you are handy. just watch for leaks. mike

Thanks. I am looking for a visual or diagram that shows me which one would be best. Looking at the part it seems like a simple knock out the plug, clamp in the heater situation. Could always RTV around the edge just as precaution. Anyone know the most optimal plug spot to use?
