I'm sure there's already been at least ONE posting with a bunch of Obama teleprompter gaffes -- but I figured I'd throw another one out there :)
Do you think any of the writers at these lefty comedy outfits actually consider themselves impartial -- like they're equal opportunity comedians? If so, how do they sleep at night? I mean, I've certainly done more than my share of ribbing on Bushisms for the past 8 years, but I've gotta say -- Obama has certainly managed to chalk up more than enough fodder for these people -- and yet they let it slip!
Is it because he promises hope and change? Well, we certainly can't make fun of a man who just wants to give us hope!
Is it because he's black? Well then -- we certainly can't touch anything that might even be somewhat construed as racist, no matter how much it might apply! (The guy looks like a spitting image of Curious George with those ears -- but good luck finding collages of that online. Bush on the other hand, now THAT guy brings up some monkey results.)
Is it because he's got so many big plans for the country? Well so far I haven't seen much beyond plans. And more plans. And some more plans even! It seems like every other day the guy is up at some podium announcing some new initiative. I've got an idea -- how about we start by getting the economy working for small business owners first (who make up a majority of the economic muscle of this country) and put some people back to work again, so they can start spending again. When the country is on a healthy road to recovery, THEN Obama can try and pitch some of his looney ideas.
Which brings me to some links of a few Obama podium gaffes. Just because they aren't parading them around the comedy shows, doesn't mean they don't exist!
