6 vs. 3

Looking into Mazda's currently I'm new to them and was wondering what everyone recommends. I definitely want a sedan, not a 5-door. I like the 3's look and mpg. I like how the 6 has a little more kick. I'm looking to buy this summer get something used for 10k-12k. So i just want to know what everyones driving and what they recommend. Please keep answers related to the topic, and owners only. Thank you!

ive got the 6 and i like it a lot, id do some shopping around though, i picked mine up for $8550 and its in excellent shape with 79000 miles on it

is that the v6 or the 2.3? and how does it do for mpg and acceleration?

ive got the v6 5 speed, its got quite a bit of pep to it, ive owned pretty much all v8's before this so its not exactly the quickest car ive had but ive got no problem burning and scratching tires on shift if i want to. im not sure about gas mileage though, i havent checked yet, but it does real well.
