Why can't we have skylines? We're Americans, for god's sake. We;re the richest damn country in the world. People will eat crap on a boat for 30 days just to come to America. Why can't we have a skyline?:( :(

i was just poking my nose in the skyline and bluebird forums and those lucky bastards don't even realize they have such sick cars. if they came here and were limited to our selection of car, i think they'd be disappointed. they'd look at our si civics and altima's(bluebirds) and laugh. it makes me so mad that there is an innumerable amount of cars that with minimal to moderate investment could be pulling 11's and 12's at the track and everyone just has to deal with it.

itz b/c of USs emmisions restrictions.....i don't think manufactures are trying to deture their most popular cars just for us.....my goal in life....or until i grow out of it....it to get a skyline......pm donations and paypal addy :D

motorex brings the skylines over and converts them to obd-2, do you think it effects the performance much?

I'm with Paonessa on this one, it is a bunch of BS that we can't have the best and fastest cars like they have overseas here. Forget that emissions bs the damn Spaceshuttle launchings by themselves put out more fluorocarbons and ozone depleting chemicals in one launch than most high emissioned cars can do in one month.

I think it all this political mess with these "We Love the World/Greenpeace types that makes all of this wishful thinking we have impossible.

In the USA I'd say the best import is the Supra... in Japan it's gotta be the Skyline and the Silvia

What the difference between the Bluebird and the Altima?

Give it time, boys and girls, some of you might have missed the annaouncement on the front page of AF, but we're getting our skylines in 05. I couldnt be happier.

gives me time to save, so I can snag one when they come out...

hope you can save $60,000 or more. our skyline here'll be phat a vq33dett will be pretty interesting but the rb26dett is just as awesome and the body from the r34 GTR looks so intimidating it gives me goosebumps. plus i bet our skyline'll be limited to how fast you can get it to move and i'm sure it won't be workable to quadruple digit horsepower like the R34


and the bluebird has the sr20det FWD engine it looks just like an altima here. and i think the attessa version is the AWD option, which is equivalent to a gts skyline. the altima here is a 2.4 FWD making 150 hp

even the options the have are so much better than ours. the fact that they can have a little mini skyline, with optional AWD. i would love to have the option of AWD on my maxima. and they have the nissan Gloria over there with a vq30det. a turbo max accept it's RWD. lucky bastards

What the Maxima there is Rwd? So does it look any different? Ya but here u have the VQ35 engine and u put a turbo on that u can smoke the Gloria. And remeber the Altima here has the 3.5 it would be real nice to see awd on both cars. I heard of a roomer that Nissan/Infinity will bring that out on some of their cars. There were rumors that the G35, Altima and 350Z might have the option of AWD.

put a turbo on a usdm 3.5 and you'll void the warranty and an engine from the factory, made to be turbo, has much more potential and can withstand more power on stock engine components

I prefer the RB motor due to its Iron block it can handle more boost.

Hi guys, I am new to this side of AF, but I totally agree with you man. Why can't we get the real nissans like the SKYLINE R34 V-Spec II which is my dreaM car besides the Lamborghini Diablo. I would take it over the Lambo even.
