Recently I came with the idea of installing a nitrous system and a turbo in my 1986 442.The engine is not the original 307,it's a 402,because the 307 passed away. Any comments or ideas are welcome!

yea man, im actually in the process of doing this right now, i have a t-3 turbo thats running off a olds 1986 307, roller cam motor, with an ajustable cheater plate of nitrous, if the turbo doesnt work, a 250 shot will(lol). anyway, the car in question is a 1980 oldsmobile cutlass cruiser, with msd, a holley 650 blow tru carb, a blitz blow off valve, mitsubishi t-3, posi rearelectric fuel injection fuel pump, and a regulator that runs according to boost, when im done ill let u know how it ran, but its been slow going, i had changed the cam (w-30)and didnt know that the motors from 1986 up arent interchangeable with the rest off the olds family, in terms of cams. 1985 and down can interchange all parts, but not 86, due to the roller cam. had to buy another motor in order to get everything i needed to make it roller again(going to keep the short block and have the heads done by franky ford when i get a chance). im doing it to be different if thats ur goal hence the station wagon(lol), go for it.

turbo is running good with the motor, but i need a electric vaccum pump so that the tranny can shift when the boost kicks in,( it has no vaccum when its under boost), but feels good and healthy, at least a 13 sec car, with a stock 307 and 342 rear gears, 3500 pound station wagon, @ 10 pounds of psi,26 by 10 inch tires out back, weld rims all around, well see what happens in the summer, its to cold to finish her now, but i cant wait to hit the track.
