Bleeding the brakes on a '96 Burb

My drivers side caliper is sticky. Yuck! I am going to replace both calipers, but first I need to know if I need to do anything special to bleed an ABS system. Have any of you replaced these on your own rig? Any special bleeding procedures the handy Chilton manual doesn't tell you about? Thanks for the help!

Do one side at a time and keep the master cylinder full of fluid and cover on it.
If the ABS gets air in it it requires a ABS scanner to bleed.
So do not leave the brake line open any longer than to change calipers fast as you can.
Good Luck

get a clean clear plastic jar with a lid. an old clean folgers instant coffee jar works great. get a piece of clear 1/4" tubing, oxygen tubing .cut the tubing long enough to where you can reach the jar which is going to be below the front doors.leave the connector end on the tubing if you use oxygen tubing.drill two 1/4" holes in the jar lid opposite each other . put the cut end into the jar 1/4" from the bottom of the jar and put the jar on the passenger side where you can see it from the drivers seat.make sure the mastercylinder is full. start with the right [passengerside]bleeder, loosen it just a little push the tubing on the bleeder. pump the brake pedal and watch the tubing for air bubbles . do not let the mastercylinder get empty.bleed until no air bubbles are seen in the tubing.let the end of the tubing stay covered with brake fluid if you have to empty the jar.do the other side the same way. i have used this system many times and it is about the only way one person can bleed the brakes .i cut my tubing 10' long that way if you ever have to bleed the rear brakes then it will be long enough.to store the jar and tubing ,empty and wipe out the jar.drain most of the brake fluid out of the tubing and wipe the outside of the tubing.roll the tubing up and put it inside the jar.put it inside a cabinet or some place it won't get dust on it. and it will work for years.

I know my '94 Suburban with ABS bleeds normally. I'll be doin' this job again soon as my 2-year-old lifetime warranty master cylinder has leaky seals between the reservoir and the cylinder, and apparently these seals are not available to purchase, even at the dealer...
