Got an 06 Cobalt with an eerie problem. Several days ago the automatic door locks started activating to lock and unlock on their own. Its like a kid is fiddling with the lock button. It'll even do it with the ignition off. Anyone had this problem? Got a solution? Thanks.

Never had that problem but electrically it seems like the switch may be shorting out, or a problem with the fuse.

Spooky though....

you can also check this,Power Door Locks Cycling Or Inoperative From The Switches
Models:2005-2008 Chevrolet Cobalt
2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit
2007-2008 Pontiac G5
It has been reported that an issue exists that will cause the door locks to cycle when driving and/or become inoperative from the door lock switches. When the condition is present the door locks are inoperative from the switches, however they work normally with the key fobs. (If equipped with Remote keyless Entry)
It is recommended that you connect the Tech-2 to the vehicle and look at the door lock switch status (RFA data-list) it should be reading "Idle". If it reads lock or unlock then check for a possible sticking door lock switch and replace as necessary. also check the master power window switch for corrosion at the connector, seen some with this problem

The Cobalt is used on a Mail route. The passenger window has to be down in the rain quite a bit. Seems this has allowed rain water to short out the passenger window regulator switch. Hope this helps those with a similar problem.
