92 Max O2 Sensor

Quick question, how do you change the 02 sensor on a 92 max? and will i have any probs like check engine light or anything? thanks

I have a 91 when i changed mine the sensor just skrewd into the exhaust pipe like a bolt would... and about the light, i was told if you just disconnect the battery for like 10 min. the computer will reset itself. Good Luck! :frog:

i think it also depends which o2 sensor you are referring to. Correct me if i'm wrong, but there is a front o2 and a rear one as well. I've replaced the rear o2 in my 99 max:

cost = $94 with tax

time = 30 minutes

performance gain = unbelievable!

I also heard that it is slightly harder to replace the front o2 sensor.
