Awesome work on the body color--that green just pops right out!

Very cool!

When you are thinking and planning for light source do you see your cars as lit by overhead fluorescent type lighting as opposed to natural (single light source) lighting?---looks very "indoor car showish".

Very nice! i totaly dig this color. the reflections in the paint are top notch of course. wouldnt expect any less from u. love the close up. the window reflections are sweet as well. cant get over the realistic looking wheels n tires. excellent job!!!

That thing is AWESOME!! The color is nice but something a bit darker with those reflections on would be PERFECT! But still it's nice.:D And I was just wondering, have you ever done a painting of a Golf? Mark I, II or III.

hi everyone thanks for the comments and critques appreciate it as usual

PDQ-VW- wen i draw i tend to pic reference pics with high detail and shadows/refections in the paintwork and i basically just mimic the reference pic as best as possible and draw and colour it as best i can,its actually an outdoor shot but the car was parked near a fence and trees overhead so most of the light source is hitting up along the side of the car, this particualar green doesnt blend well so it was a bit tricky getting it to smooth over as much as i would have liked it :)

GB: you know wheels are my favorite thing lol i pay close attention there:)

Sketch master - the ref pic was actually a darker green and i agree your right it looks much better darker but this was a friends car and his is a limey green colour

ps : with the window reflections i use gouache which i put on my finger then i smudge it in to get that reflectiony look
