any tips on getting to the connection on the R&P its under the brake booster and it looks like an aluminum block/bracket that I can't see.
Its not my car so I don't have a manual amd my 2000 Malibu is different but has the same engine It seems they think its a take it off and replace it job like my older cars where you could see both ends.
working on it right now but will check back when I take a break.
OK got it done.
the block was a bracker that has a spring clip on top that came off easy but the bracket was plastic and broke when I pried the tubing out the problem was I didn't have an 18mm wrench so I took my 4" grinder and opened an 11/16 to fit.
if I had to do it again I think I might co to a dealer for the hose as the replacement coveres a couple of models anso I have a high pressure hose shop that will take the old pressure hose and rebuild it. haven't been there in years but I think he's still there. - I had a friend with a shop that did fleet service and he had all his rebuilt.
