When I try to open the power sliding door by pressing any of the buttons, the door motor just makes a short click no matter how many times I press the button. The door won't open or close automatically. I tryed resetting the power door a couple of times and I checked the fuses. The door still does not open or close automatically. It just makes that short click sound when I press the button. What is wrong?

You might need to make sure the actuator in the door to pop it can move freely and or is not bound up.. Either that or possibly something in the door drive system is malfunctioning or bad..

How can I check that?

If you were to pop the Door by hand( not pull on it ) but pull the latch, will the door open on its own?

No it still won't, I have to manually open the door.
Also, previously when the power sliding door used to work and the door was open while the car was in gear, there would be a loud buzz to indicate that the door was not closed. Now when the door is opened and I put the car into any gear, there is no buzzing noise and the door does not operate.

Not sure 100% what to tell you... I had some issues with my Slider and took the door apart to see if the release actuator was functioning... Mine was working but all of the linkage was bone dry and hanging up... I took most of it apart and cleaned it and lubed all of it... And the door has been great ever since... Not sure what may be wrong with your door..

I also lubed up most of the parts on the door and it still doesn't work. Do you know what actually makes the buzzing noise when the door is opened. Maybe it's that part that is not working?

Someone told me that the plungers and plunger pads on the door and the door jam could be corroded. Where are these two things located and how do they look like?

At the bottom of the door and on the "B" Pillar. Place a liberal amount of denatured alcohol on a clean rag and wipe both the plungers and the contact pads with the cloth.

Also you may want to check that the security switch on the overhead console is not locking the door function so a child cannot operate the door.
