I plan tto replace the shcoks with a set of Bilsteins but cant decide between regular or HD. I used it to drive to Florida with 4 persons and luggage.
Any advice?

Unless you're doing some heavy duty hauling on a consistent basis. Like buying cement mix and lumber from Lowes, you'll probably be fine with normal truck shocks. I have Monroe Reflex truck shocks and they work fine for what I do. Which is use my truck as a people hauler like you described. As long as the shocks are quality they should be fine for just hauling people and a few trips to Lowes.

So, I'd say you'll be fine with standard truck shocks from any reputable shock maker.

hope that helps
