99 Suburban front a/c fan not blowing

My rear a/c is blowing and cold. However, since Friday, my front blower does not come on at all. I checked the fuses inside and under the hood and they check out. A guy at the auto parts store told me "it must be the front blower". So I replaced it Saturday and, still, nothing.
Any ideas?

What engine and what size suburban?
Auto or manual AC?
Dead on all speeds?
From ac blower switch the control switches speeds threw resister and or relay.
Resister handles lower speeds .
The relay should turn on high speed.
Did you put ground wire back on blower motor?
Jump blower motor with 12 volt fused wire.
If it runs work back to relay and ac switch and resistor.
Get a 12 volt test light
Double check wiring and wiring plugins and switch and relay and resister.

fan doesn't blow on any speed. (rear air is fine)
When I installed the new blower it did not have the 'ground connector' like the original. So, no, I did not hook up that.

Start with a 12 volt fused jumper to fan motor + side wire and see if it will run.
And also check neg - ground side for ground.

If it runs jumped start tracing back for lose of voltage to it.
Also helps to.
Get a good wiring diagram for the blower motor circuit.

It sound like you got the wrong fan from the auto parts store. If you don't have the ground hooked up the fan won't work. If you still have the old fan, you can check it with an ohm meter and see if you have continuity accross the spade connectors on the fan.. If not the fan is bad. If the new fan does not look like the old one i would take it back.

My replacement fan came with a terminal that went under one of the mounting screws for ground wire. Have to have ground wire on fan. Check this place out, very knowledgable folks and glad to help.
