I listers

My '00 Suburban has been A/C serviced by a pro :
- drain and refill with R134a,
- oil,
- fluo tracer leak.

Now T° is cold but not very cold.
It's like there a heater and cooling blend.

Compressor runs fine.
Any advices is welcome.

Does the "pro" know it's not working right? -- give him a chance to fix it-- sometimes it takes a second look.....

Pressure readings would be nice.......

Why did the "pro" service it, what was wrong? If you think it's really also blending in heat, bypass the heater core with some heater hose (I do that every summer in my '88 Mazda truck).

Didn't these have the filter for the a/c blower? It might be clogged up by now if it hasn't been changed. Or maybe the evaporator coil is filled with dirt and gunk, but the filter would catch that. I believe it's under the glove box on these trucks.

Mmmhhhh... service was just drain R134a refill with new one + oil + fluo tracer.
Cabon filter was changed 9 month ago.
I''ll bring back it ASAP.

Chris.

Make sure he tells you how much he takes out - so you know whether or not you have a leak.
