Chevy Express 15 Seater: how do they stand the test of time?

Hey guys,
Im in a band thats going to be going on tour soon. We're looking into 15 seater vans to carry us across the country. We have really limited funds (gotta lease/finance a car thats $8k or less), so we're obviously looking at used cars. Just wondering how these Chevys seem to hold up over time seeing as the car we're going to get is likely going to have 80-100,000 miles on it.
We're going to be putting upwards of 8000 miles on the car in the first month that we'll own it, and we cant afford to have it break down (we have back to back gigs in different states lasting for a while). Seeing as we're a band, we'll be hauling lots of heavy equipment in the back of the car.
So yeah... how do these Chevys hold up? is there a difference between the 90s and 2000s Chevys (we could probably get a 90s Chevy with 80,000 miles, or a 2000s chevy with 110,000-120,000 miles with the amount of money we have... which one do you guys think would be a better deal for us?) Also, any tips on when we're purchasing the car? Thanks so much.

80K sounds better than 120K miles.
But with any used car/truck take it to a good trusted mechanic/repair shop and have them check it out before buying.
Good Luck
