If you have front air only- it is behind the passenger side turn signal- access by removing the lens----if it is front and rear air- it is just beyond the "Y" split on the liquid line running toward the front evap along the passenger side frame rail-- look for the dimples and the OT connection....

I found the Y connection. After it branches off to the 2 lines, one line has a threaded connection. Is the tube located in this connection?

I have another problem, A/C related but not the orifice tube. I purchased a rebuilt compressor today. The compressor only had one electrical connection on it. My compressor has 2, one behind the pulley and one on the back. I checked 3 stores (Autozone, Advanced and NAPA) and they only carry the compressors with the connector behind the pulley. They can't find one with the connector on the back. What is that connector for anyway?

It is a pressure switch.
Look on the back of the compressers they have and see if it has a removeable plug in the back pressure switch hole.
If so you can install your old switch in it.
Also check the oil in the new compresser.
Some come with a full 10 oz. charge.
If so drain it out and add the proper amount and kind of oil.
The Murry and 4 season rebuilt compressers are junk.
Go for a brand new compresser.

I had thought about just swapping that switch but I thought maybe the rebuilt compressor would not have something installed inside if it wasn't already equipped with the switch. Also, I tried to remove mine and it won't budge.

If it is the right compresser it will have a switch in it or a removable plug so you san install a new switch or your old one.
