2001 Suburban with battery light flashing

Hi,
I have 2001 Suburban with a flashing battery light. I have replaced the battery (wouldn't hold a charge), the alternator, and the fusible link between alternator and jumper box.
Before replacing these items, the battery light did not flash.
Have had a tech hook up scan tool, but there are no codes.
Anyb ody out there have any ideas? When light flashes, the voltmeter on dash stays steady.

Here is an update:

The battery lamp does not flash as often when using headlights instead of DRL's. It does flash when using headlights, just not as frequently.
