I bought a Pontiac G6 2008 with 17" Wheels ( tires are 225/50/17 )
I owned a Grand prix 2000 with 16" wheels (tires are 225/60/16 ) . Can I fit theese 16 inches tires on a 16" rims that will fit my G6. What is the bolt pattern of the G6 2008 ?
Thank You:screwy:

Why? The stock 17" wheels with the P225/50-R17 tire is a good combo for the G6. The bolt pattern is 5 X 115mm which is the same as your old Grand Prix and the Grand Am/Alero. The wheel offset is similar although I do not know what the stock offset for the '08 G6 is. However, if you use 16" wheels the tire aspect ratio or profile (sidewall height) has to be proper or you will get a speedometer error. For example if you were to use 16" inch wheels with the P225/60-R16 tires the speedo error would be around plus 1.94 mph. When speedo reads 65 you would actually be doing 66.94 mph. A tire in P225/55-16 would be better and fairly close so there would be minimal speedo error. Around 3/10 (.3) mph difference. But no problems if you decide to switch out as long as you keep the above in mind.
