Lifter replacement and Intake Manifold Gasket Leak

So what I figured would probably happened, happened. The "mechanic" who did the last intake manifold gasket replacement did a crappy job and now it is seeping from the seal in the back of the engine between the intake and the block. :banghead: So along with my oil pan gasket replacement I get to do this. There doesn't seem to be any coolant in the oil but I'm watching that like a hawk now. I figure this is a good time to replace my ticking lifters. What is a good brand of lifter to buy? I don't want to do a half-assed job on this one. Also which is the best gasket? I know the Fel-Pro gasket is a good one, I just don't know if the Perma-Dry Plus is all that or not. Would you guys trust using no sealer or would you just get a GM one (assuming it's the updated one) and use sealer or what? I have new valve cover gaskets and upper plenum gaskets so I don't need the whole upper intake package but can you buy the Perma-Dry Plus gaskets with just the gaskets themselves? I've replaced an engine but I haven't replaced many gaskets so any info you could give me would be very much appreciated!
