I have a 2003 lincoln navigator that has something wrong with it. The entire car will not rise- it dropped on its on and when we drive it to the mechanic it bounces like crazy. My normal mechanic works on asian cars and does not have a machine to see what is wrong. he thinks it is electrical bc he tried replacing some pump that makes the car rise and when he put the new pump in no air was getting to that compressor pump? so he knew it wasnt the pump but something else that is causing it to not work.
We took it to the dealership and they said it could cost between $600 to $6000. What kind of estimate is that- I think they are trying to rip me off.

I have a 99 Navigator and it did the same thing. My wife and I spent over $880 to replace the relay (located on front right side of bumper behind fog light) and the pump (located behind passenger side headlight). About two months later it did it again had the relay replaced and a month later it happened again. Went to Stutmasters.com and ordered a new pump put it in my self it would not turn on. Checked the wiring going to the relay and found that they female ends in the harness had stretched out bought a tool with a little hook on the end and pryed them back a little bit put it back in the relay and shazzam it worked like a champ. If that doesn't fix the problem then it is probably your relay.
