94 regency starter

alright, my starter fried and i need to replace it. i have found that the selinoid. it needs to be replaced. there is the cross member passes right underneith it. anybody got any ideas that would make this job eaiser like useing the holes in the cross member or ect... any help would be greatly appreiceated
